Bill rose from Firefighter in Brandon Manitoba to Ass’t Fire Commissioner of
Manitoba. He received his Certificate in Public Administration and Adult
Education from the Red River College in Winnipeg.
He then became principal of the Manitoba Fire College and Supervisor of Field
Services.
Bill later became Manager of Emergency Services for Sherwood Park, AB.
FHe then became Fire Chief for the City of Saskatoon and was appointed General
Manager of Fire and Protection Services.
Bill can also add author to his credits having written a book called "Fire
Service Emergency Operating Guidelines for Incident Commanders" which was
published by the Canadian Association of Fire Chiefs.
Bill has consulted on numerous cases involving Fire Department tactics in regards to major fires.
