Jeff is a recent graduate from Queen’s University with an honours degree in
Geography and GIS. With well received papers covering topics such as ‘B.C
Wildfire Forecasting’, ‘Wildfire Sensitivity/Prediction Modeling Using ArcGIS’,
and ‘Fire Spread Analysis Using 4D Simulations’, Jeff has a solid background
in fire mapping and research. Jeff has also participated in a project to reclassify
the dissemination areas in the Kingston, Ontario CMA. In partnership with an advising professor, Jeff’s suitability analysis of the region helps assist the city’s
police department in tactical and strategic intelligence. Jeff recently gave a talk on arson motives to 250 insurance brokers and agents at Robson Media
centre in Vancouver.

Jeff attended the 2005 Advanced Fire Investigation School put on by the National Association of Fire Investigators in Toronto.
Jeff wrote and passed the examination which entitles him to have the Certified
Fire and Explosion Investigator designation.
